WEEKLY DIARY... RESULTS

Week 10

How? Healthy proteins, pumped up the cardio, small little in between workouts and of course shakes and low glycemic eating!!

Results? 12% 3lbs away from my final goal!! YIKES!!

Best and Worst Part? My clothes are falling off me J

Week 9

How? A lot of determination. Healthy eating. Encouragement and Compliments from others. Focusing on the positive, the wonderful things in life and the smile moments. Of course also excercise, dedication and shakes. The transformation is showing both inside and out.

Results? 11% 5 lbs away from my ultimate goal. I cannot wait.

Best Part? I have confessed that this doesn't end in 25 days. I have already set my next goal.

Week 8

Little MIA this week... Still lost, still ate healthy but was disconnected from the world as I moved into the city which was one of my lifestyle goals for the year. How many of your goals have you reached? How are you doing it? I've checked off 5... what an amazing feeling!

Week 7

How? Transformation phase. A bars and low GI meals, no shakes this week I ran out. But I still did it. I am now aware of what goes into my mouth and the amount that I move in the day. I have made it so I walk at least 5000 steps a day in addition to a set excercise time. Couldn't do it without the help of my supporters, cheerleaders and family. I love walking in to my grandma's kicking up my leg and air pumping when I achieve my results.

Results? 10% Milestone... so awesome!! So close to my goal. This has taken hard work and dedication but I can honestly say that I have made awesome lifestyle changes that have made me energized and feeling healthy and guilty about not excercising.

Best Part? I love it, I feel great and have made changes for life.

Week 6
How? Transformation, half way there!… 2  shakes a day and a low glycemic meal, 30 minutes of total body workout a day and at least a 1 mile walk! Whew! I did it! I tried some creative exercise this week. By that I mean I put workout videos on and grooved to it as I was making lunches. Sometimes you just have to multitask. I was a little unfocused this week as there was so much going on. But survived. 1lb down. Slow and steady wins the race right? Well that’s my motto this week. I can’t be disappointed because I’m still losing and I did sneak in a few beers on date night which I’m sure didn’t help the scales. But it’s not a diet right? It’s a lifestyle change.. part of my lifestyle is wanting to share a beer or two with the people that I love and care for. Can’t change everything, but you can improvise. I skipped dessert at dinner instead.

Best Part? I feel great, did a lot of exercise and had lots of fun!

Results? 1 lb down 9 to go!

Week 5
How? Partnering up with Shirley Hoppner...
What an awesome energizing week this was. I paired myself with a lovely partner, Shirley Hoppner. Not only adding me in another category to win, but she is amazing as a motivator to challenge me to answer questions that I have an just to bounce ideas off of. We are the Canadian_Losers and we are going to lose to win and be on the leaderboard and finally meet when we win the challenge and get to go to SANOVIV. Thank you Shirley for coming into my life I am so grateful. She kicked my butt as we pushed each other to our exercise limits.

Best Part? I’m not doing this alone now – not that I was before  you are all awesome cheerleaders .. you know what I mean.

Results? Lost 3 pounds.. we rocked it!

Week 4
How? Continue Transformation… I think? Why do I say I think, well I seemed to have hit the wall this week. Weight didn’t go down as much, motivation to stick to it was lower as a result of being busier (though I tried my darndest) and well getting to the gym was practically impossible, not as a result of my mindset as a result of a busy hectic schedule. So I ask you? How do you make it work on those upside down inside out weeks when everything just is unraveling before you and blink the week is gone.
The Result? I weighed in and went hmm.. I was proud that on my oh so busy not so focused week I didn’t gain but lost one little pound. So now I have to make a plan and stay focused. There are 8 weeks left to go and this is how my weeks are going to be from here on in for a while. How do I continue transforming, maintain order in the house, find time for the gym and workouts, run after two kids. How do I find the balance?
This is often my biggest road block and I’m happy that I am recognizing it this time.. so I need to strategize. I will not give up and let it slide this time. Remember? Not a diet it’s a lifestyle change… so I have to make it all fit my lifestyle right?
Best Part? Half way to my final goal… YAY!
Week 3
How? Continue transform – this week has been harder, it’s been raining which is not motivating for anyone. But I did enjoy a taco evening, some delicious low glycemic meals and am considering a 5K in August, most importantly this is all become a part of my daily routine and thinking.
Best part? I’m taking supplements now that I know are giving me the energy and extras I need that we can’t get from food!! In addition to eating wholesome healthy food and meals.
2nd best part? I’ve become a USANA associate, so as I slim my shape, create a healthier lifestyle I’m setting myself up for time freedom by building an at home business as well… great for the up and coming tax season, and great to help me meet my future goals.

Week 2
How? Transform and exercise – 2 shakes a day, 1 usana snack bar and then think about 1 low glycemic meal and 1 low glycemic snack.
Low Glycemic? Well I’m a lifelong learner, so not going to lie I needed to learn… I found a book that has helped create low glycemic meals (even allowed me a taco night still) and has taught me how to make it a habit not a job. Also had to learn how to do a Squat… that’s right a squat!!
Results? I reached milestone number 2 and was super motivated to keep going…

Week 1

How? Reset plus 3000 steps a day. The RESET is all set up minus adding fruits and vegetables a day. And heck run after my kids for a day, easy 3000 steps.

Results? With these simple steps, delicious shakes and support and coaching I was able to achieve my first milestone and feel great!
